ALI Advising

ALI students have two advisors at UMKC: an ALI Academic Advisor and an International Student Affairs Office (ISAO) Advisor. Each of these advisors can help you with different things.

When Can I Meet With My ALI Advisor?

Most of the time, you will need to make an appointment, even if the matter is urgent. The only time you can see an ALI Advisor without an appointment is during walk-in hours.

ALI Advising Walk-in Hours

• Monday — 8:30-9 a.m., 3-3:30 p.m.
• Tuesday — 8:30-9 a.m, 3-3:30 p.m.
• Wednesday — not available
• Thursday — 8:30-9 a.m, 3-3:30 p.m.
• Friday — 8:30-9 a.m

ISAO Advising

The ISAO Advising Office helps international students with maintaining status, employment, I-20 extensions, sponsorship, transfers, travel requests and much more.
