Chelsey Butts graduated from the University of Kansas in 2013 with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with an emphasis in Education History. She then completed a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in TESOL and a minor in Linguistics in 2014. Before joining ALI staff, she taught English as a second language at the University of Kansas’ Applied English Center, Penn Valley Community College's Applied Language Institute, and UMKC's Applied Language Institute for three and a half years.
