UMKC is offering a 1-semester, $2,000 scholarship to study abroad in South Korea. Students pay UMKC tuition and fees while attending one of our partner universities in South Korea. Application deadline is Feb 15.

Sangmyung University

Sangmyung University (SMU) is located in the heart of Seoul, the center of South Korea's politics, economy, education and culture. Courses taught in English include the Colleges of Humanities & Social Sciences, Education, Business & Economics, Convergence Engineering, Art & Culture, Global Humanities, Design, Art, Convergence Technology, and Engineering. It's place where tradition and the future exist side by side, a learning space for future leaders.

Yeungnam University

A university that creates a new history, Yeungnam University (YU) is located near Daegu in SE South Korea. Courses taught in English include Business, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Education, Finance, Mechanical Engineering, Political Science/International Relations. YU offers an "Understanding of Korea" course and Korean instruction at the Korean Language Institute.
