The Applied Language Institute is HLC Accredited. The Higher Learning Commission partners with member institutions and other stakeholders to define policies for quality higher education and accredits degree-granting colleges and universities in the United States. HLC seeks to advance the common good through quality assurance of higher education as the leader in equitable, transformative and trusted accreditation in the service of students and member institutions.
The Applied Language Institute is also a proud member of UCIEP, an independent consortium of university and college-administered intensive English programs in the United States. UCIEP is dedicated to professional standards and quality instruction. Its 68 member programs are committed to ensuring that students receive the highest-quality intensive English instruction from trained, professional teachers.
