Dr. Ann Marie Wood is an Associate Teaching Professor of Sociology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Her research focuses on the intersection of medicine and sexuality, particularly how older adults are overlooked in HIV/AIDS prevention and education. Her publications include articles in Research in the Sociology of Health Care, The Journal of Aging and Social Policy, the anthology “Medicalized Masculinities,” among others.
