About

Dr. Frangos joined the English Department in 2007. Her research interests center on print culture, women, and sexuality in the “long eighteenth century” in Britain and the Transatlantic world. Dr. Frangos is editor of The Eighteenth Century: Theory and Interpretation, a leading academic journal of eighteenth-century studies published by the University of Pennsylvania Press. Her collection of eighteenth-century maps started with an 1817 pocket map of London, from the estate of a friend’s great aunt. Dr. Frangos recently attended the Book History Workshop at Texas A&M University.
