Dr. Jones, who joined UMKC in 2006, focuses on teaching and research in the areas of Classical literature, sacred texts, and their reception throughout the ages. That relationship includes intersections between mythology and religion, archaeological research, and the interpretation of ancient literature in contemporary context.
Dr. Jones taught Study Abroad programs to Greece and Italy from 2004-2011.
