Cynthia joined UMKC in 2015 as assistant managing editor for BkMk Press. After a brief stint supporting the departments of Race, Ethnic and Gender Studies, Political Science and Philosophy, and Criminal Justice and Criminology, Cynthia transitioned to the Dean's Office in 2022.
