As the Director of Scholarships for UMKC’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Katie supports the School’s stewardship efforts by facilitating student involvement with donors and administrators. She is an advocate for scholarships and works to educate both the UMKC and Kansas City communities on the importance of financially helping students achieve their academic goals.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UMKC and is currently working towards her Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Couples and Family at UMKC. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their multitude of animals.
