Symaria Fisher graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in International Business and minor in Aviation. Before joining the ALI, Symaria worked for the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library system, where she nurtured her love for reading and engaged the local community. Symaria is a globetrotter who seeks out adventure and culture in travel. She is also multilingual in French and native Spanish, with ancestral roots in Guatemala. Symaria is thrilled to support ALI students, staff and faculty, and expand her own language acquisition while at UMKC.
