This online course focuses on improving students' speaking and listening skills. Offered to our international partner universities, the course can be held during the day or in the evening, whichever best suits your schedule. It's a great option, giving students the benefit of skilled ALI instruction when in-person study isn't possible.

The 12-week course emphasizes developing students' speaking and listening proficiences:

  • Classes are 2 hours, twice a week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday).
  • The course is designed and taught by expert online instructors from the ALI.
  • A minimum of 4 students is needed.
  • Completing the course comes with a 20% discount for in-person classes at UMKC!

Cost: 

  • Group of 5-8 students = $750 per student.
  • Group of 9-15 students = $500 per student.
