Intensive Mandarin Program

Starting in Summer 2024, the ALI will hold Intensive Mandarin classes at UMKC.

The ALI and UMKC will be hosting a Mandarin instructor from our partner university, I-Shou, in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This instructor will teach an Intensive Mandarin class at UMKC. 

Program Details:

  • Tuition: $1,200 per student (need based scholarships may be available).
  • Dates: June 17 - July 26 (No classes on June 19, July 4 and July 5. In place of canceled classes, additional weekly hour of instruction TBD).
  • Hours: 10 hours per week
  • Times: 10:00 to 12:00 Monday through Friday
