The UMKC Center for Digital and Public Humanities supports students and faculty as they develop and practice critical research skills that integrate digital methods with scholarship in the humanities.

We are committed to:

  • Providing resources to students, faculty, and staff as they develop digital and public humanities projects and conduct original research that integrates digital methods with creative work and scholarship
  • Offering a robust curriculum that provides students with opportunities for high-impact learning experiences and transferable skills that they can apply in the twenty-first century workforce
  • Partnering with the community to collaboratively conduct research and engage in creative projects.

These pages reflect the student-facing aspects of the Center's mission. Please visit the primary Center for Digital and Public Humanities website for information about projects, programming, and spaces.
