Intensive English Program
Our Intensive English Program (IEP) has small classes, expert instructors, and two levels of instruction - beginner and intermediate. Start your academic journey with us in the IEP!
Paseo Program
Get a head start on your degree at UMKC. Combine specialized classes for B1 and B2 CEFR level students with academic courses. Students will need full- or conditional admission to an academic program at UMKC to enroll in Paseo courses.
Applied Linguistics Minor
The UMKC-ALI has partnered with the School of Education, Social Work, and Psychological Sciences to create an Applied Linguistics Minor and a pathway program for students with limited English proficiency to prepare for an undergraduate degree in education.
