Programs for Degree-Seeking Students
The ALI aims to help students at all levels of English proficiency prepare for and succeed in academic study at the university. We have multiple options for students at UMKC.
Programs for Visiting Students
The ALI offers several unique programs for visiting students. Students can join our Iris Exchange Program, which includes English courses, academic courses, service-learning, and social and cultural events, or explore our specialized short-term group camps.
Programs Open to the Community
We also have programs available to students in the U.S. who are not on a visa or students who are on visas other than the F-1 or J-1. In addition, we seek to serve the KC metro by offering customized curriculums to area organizations and businesses.
